Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Head of Accounting to manage all aspects of our financial transactions and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Head of Accounting will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data while providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits of financial procedures and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns, audits, and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for various projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA certification preferred, however we are also open to considering an advanced book-keeper.
• Minimum of 4 plus years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Netsuite preferred but not mandatory) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, professional level of English spoken and written.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
