Danai Medical LTD is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accountant to support financial operations and ensure operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily bookkeeping and transaction recording in the accounting system
Receipt preparation and posting
Processing daily banking activities, including payments and updating bank ledgers
Reconciling bank statements, creditors, debtors, and other accounts as required
Recording business expenses and invoices accurately
Issuing Invoices, Debit Notes, and Credit Notes
Creating new customer and supplier profiles in the accounting system
Preparing VAT and Intrastat declarations
Conducting supplier allocations in Danai Medical LTD ledgers
Recording costing and supporting cost-tracking processes
Filing and maintaining records of financial documents in an organized and accessible manner
Updating and maintaining databases; ensuring all documents are properly archived
Assisting with the month-end closing process
Provision to auditors of requested documents for audits and compliance purposes
Monitoring and controlling cash flows

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
LCCI Higher (an added advantage)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Proficiency in E-Soft accounting software (and/or Stock Control)
Strong knowledge of VAT and EU reporting (Intrastat)
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and by email, with customers of various nationalities and cultures in a professional manner
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and debt collection principles
High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Must be willing to be trained
Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language (verbal and written communication skills)
Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
